Our inspiring beginning
Loyal Leash started from a simple but deeply personal feeling: wanting every dog to feel as loved, safe, and understood as the ones closest to us. It wasn’t just one moment, but a collection of them—the excited paws at the door, the way a nervous dog learns to trust, the quiet companionship of a senior dog. These moments made it impossible to see dog walking as “just a job.” The idea for Loyal Leash came from realizing how much trust it takes for someone to hand over their dog and how important it is to honour that trust with consistency, kindness, and genuine care. Every dog has their own personality, and we wanted to build something that respects that fully. Loyal Leash was created to be more than a walking service; it’s about showing up reliably, building bonds, and making sure every dog feels cared for.

We want dog owners to know that safety always comes first. Every walk is done with careful attention to surroundings, leash handling, weather conditions, and each dog’s comfort level. Meet the Loyal Leash team
We all come from different experiences, but dogs have always been a constant in our lives. Some of us grew up around family dogs of all sizes and temperaments, learning early on how different each one can be. Others have spent years caring for friends’ and neighbours’ pets, building experience with everything from high-energy puppies to anxious rescues and gentle senior dogs who need a slower, more patient pace. What connects us isn’t just experience—it’s how we feel about it. We don’t see dog walking as a task or a routine. We see it as time that matters. Time where a dog gets to be a dog—sniffing, exploring, playing, or simply enjoying company. We’ve learned that every dog communicates in their own way, and part of what makes us passionate is taking the time to understand those little signals: the excitement at the door, the hesitation on a new route, the way trust builds walk by walk. That connection is what we value most.
